The Seven Deadly Sins: GREED

Everybody likes nice things. I can’t think of a single person in this world who doesn’t. But sometimes, well, I’ll let the verse as well as the accurate quotations say it all for me.

Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more. Ephesians 4:19

Notice the idea of actually working for something doesn’t appear – – it’s all “gimme, gimme, gimme,” and bragging about goldbricking.

That sweet Scooty-Puff (it’s blood-money red. Vroom! VROOM!) that insurance paid for because it was a necessity…

    What? No insurance?

It’s no wonder Willie is a prog. “To each according to his needs; from each according to his abilities.” That motto must charm him to his core (if he has one). He has all sorts of “needs.” He has no abilities whatsoever that I have seen. So it’s perfect: he gets without contributing at all.

Sounds like the Soviet Communist Party elite of which Boris Yeltsin colorfully wrote: ”I have already mentioned their abilities which, alas, are not outstanding. But their needs! Their needs are so great that so far it has only been possible to create real communism for a couple of dozen people. . . “
