There are two concepts that a Gamma like Bill Schmalfeldt needs to learn in this life. Both of which he simply cannot seem to do.
Concept #1: Don’t expect anyone to value you as highly as you value yourself because NOBODY sees you as the “Secret King” that you think you are.
Proof: Bill Schmalfeldt cannot stop going on and on about how John Hoge didn’t even respond to Bill’s offer of “cutting the red tape” at NIH – never mind pesky little things like no-contact requests from Bill and a restraining order from John on Bill at the time.
The problem here is that Bill had no clue what John and his wife were doing to manage her illness. But, in a stab of unmitigated narcissism and cluelessness, decided to insert himself into their situation by doing something he imagined had worth – a helping hand to the NIH. And then got butthurt at the results – which any normal person could have EASILY forseen.
Pro-tip: When someone has a restraining order against you, you simply do not contact them. Period. Full stop. There is nothing altruistic about Bill’s attempt and he damn well knows it. He wanted to make HIMSELF look better. Instead he just dug his own grave. Lucky for him the judge believed it was an honest mistake, otherwise he would have been found in contempt of the peace order. But that judge doesn’t see Bill like those of us who have been dealing with him for years do.
Bill didn’t even read what John wrote in his post, now did he? I count three cancer specialists – in their extended families – that were assisting in her treatment. That doesn’t include her actual doctors who were treating her. It wouldn’t have mattered whether or not there had been a peace order, whether or not there had been dueling no-contact requests from both sides.
Bill simply. Wasn’t. Needed.
Gammas can’t STAND that. Which is why they need to understand Concept #1.
Concept #2: Observe the law of holes. Stop digging.
Proof: Every time something happens that Bill Schmalfeldt needs to make himself feel better about, he not only doubles down, he generally triples down on. Not content with tweeting just once about it, he has to keep it up.
Nice of him to confirm what we had all been thinking about his blatherings. They might be coming under the influence of his good friend Johnnie Walker. Sad.
