Come See the Violence Inherent in the System!

Help, help! Bill Schmalfeldt is being repressed! Or, rather, not.

***EDITORIAL DISCLAIMER***

Never, ever has the management of Billy Sez advocated that violence is the answer. The response to speech you don’t like is more speech, nothing more, nothing less. Somehow I’ve just never thought that this was necessary to say, but in this day and age, words are interpreted as being the same as physical violence in direct contradiction to logic by certain groups.

***/EDITORIAL DISCLAIMER***

It’s obvious that Bill Schmalfeldt is trying to convince people that other, unknown people, are going to physically harm him. That blogs like this one, Hogewash, Thinking Man’s Zombie, and Sonoran Conservative just want people to seek Bill out and physically harm him.

Oh please.

If you want to see a blogger that truly tries to incite violence against people, you have to go no further than HERE.

I say that unless someone is dragging @Popehat and Frey OUT OF THEIR OFFICES and BREAKING THEIR KNEES WITH BASEBALL BATS because of this, then they have nothing to worry about.

And let it NOT be said that the Liberal Grouch advocates anyone using baseball bats to break the kneecaps of either Mr. White or Mr. Frey! Nothing could be further from the truth.  In fact, if you have it in your mind that if Nadia Naffe were a friend of yours and some scumbag attorney used the powers of his office to dig up and use private information against her, whoever did it (or defends him) DESERVES to have their knees broken with baseball bats, let me dissuade you of that notion here and now.

That is not what baseball bats were made for.

For one thing, a wooden bat could break if it were used in such a reckless and lawless fashion. And if you think you can get around that by using an aluminum bat, guess again. An aluminum bat (unless it is reinforced with a lead center) would likely bend under such pressure.  Now, I hear the crafty ones out there saying, “Yeah? Well, what if I drill out the center of a WOODEN baseball bat, fill IT with lead, cover the tip with Plastic Wood?  Wouldn’t THAT do the job?”

Again, I say, you are wasting your time with all that effort.  Tire irons are much more readily available.

Perhaps Bill Schmalfeldt should ask the writer of that article just what he or she was thinking while indulging in that bit of apophasis that really was just a veiled attempt at encouraging violence against someone. Perhaps he would learn what true incitement was and take a lesson from it.

Oh wait. It was deleted from the Internet. Was someone worried about how it might look? Too bad the Internet is forever. Oopsie Poopsie.

I must start with disclaimer I do not support violence against fakes shakes, or the pedo bomber. With that said as you pointed out the only ones that have called for violence against those they disagree with is team terrorist. Bill wanting to knee cap , pope hat and Mr Frey for the crime of telling the truth about Bill. Sun light is the best to expose them. I only want people to know more about MR I have that rare form of Stage 4 Parkinson’s disease that only affect me when it convenient.

I’ve said it before, I’ll undoubtedly say it again: Bill is incredibly lucky that so far the people he has engaged are decent, upstanding people, and not the sort who might have a flexible sense of what constitutes “justice.”

    As far as he knows.

The state has declared that it has a monopoly on violence. That declaration does not make violence by the state moral. The state has also declared that it will visit violence on those who commit violence. That makes violence not authorized by the state illegal and so dangerous, but it does not entail that such unauthorized violence is immoral. I strongly recommend against violence not authorized by the state because it is imprudent, not because it is necessarily immoral. In short, law and morality are two completely different things: the law may be immoral, and morality may be illegal.

In my opinion, maiming or murdering Witless Willy would be perfectly moral, but doing so would be highly inadvisable unless you have a cast iron alibi (and even then the whole process might be messy or inconvenient or expensive). If, despite my advice, you insist on maiming or murdering him, make sure to get a juror committed to jury nullification.

    • The other problem occurs when the state refuses to protect its citizens when they go through legal channels. (See Maryland.) If it is not fixed, and fixed soon, many people, normal, law-abiding, moral people, will decide that the only way they will receive justice is if they take care of it themselves.

It’s the difference between being a Nation of Laws and a Nation of Men. We seem to be drifting ever more quickly towards the latter. I’d rather we stay the former.

You are exactly correct Jane. If the state proscribes violence from any, the state has moral credibility only if it provides justice to all. It may be highly inadvisable to take the law into your own hands because of the punishment that the state may elect to mete out, but it is perfectly moral to do so.

It’s nice to see the ‘pro se Prosecutor’ was on the case for justice 4 years ago. The crimes committed in the comment section of Joe Brooks blog were outrageous and unacceptable. Thank God the gaped crusader aka ‘pro se Prosecutor’ is out there protecting all of us from those crimes by threatening legal action!? Wait….he did what?

The last two comments from those who were not Lickspittles or from the Horde show how obvious Schmalfeldt’s behavior was to independent observers.

“Viriik: What the fuck is wrong with you? Are you that mentally fucked in the head?

Robert: Do you think he gets the irony of calling someone else a dumbass?”

As always, Bill has the right to remain silent. He just doesn’t have the smarts to do so. We now even know his body weight to the tenth of a pound. As if we care.

Bill, your remaining life would improve if you just STFU. Just walk away from the Internet. Really. Seriously. But you won’t. So the PLM continues. And you get butthurt over the PLM. And you try to do something about the PLM. Which causes more PLM. Wash, rinse, repeat.

If I was on a jury for the trial of someone who kicked Bill Schmalfeldt’s teeth down his throat, I’d vote “Not Guilty”, no matter what the evidence says. Is that supporting violence against Bill? Or is that real justice?

And if you try to explain that to a jury in the U.S., you’re probably going to jail yourself.

It says a lot about the “justice” system that admitting you know how the process is supposed to work will get you rejected as a juror.

In the US, jurors being able to render a verdict on the basis of BECAUSE F*CK YOU is one of the safety valves that limits the urges of moral people taking the law into their own hands.

In the EU, they’ve done their best to breed human beings into sheep, so I guess it doesn’t matter here. Then again, when it comes time to fight another Crusade against the invaders they’ve been welcoming in, the Europeans may re-grow some balls.

        • The same is true of us all, being fallen humans after all, myself chief among sinners. Being this is the Dormition fast for Orthodox believers, let me conclude with the prayer I recite at least a hundred times every day as part of my prayer rule: “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, through the intercession of the Holy Theotokos, have mercy on me, the sinner” May our Lord pour blessings on all TFS members and supporters.
